John Marsden is a great writer who writes wonderful books, the Ellis chronicles are no different, Ellie is as strong as always, showing independence and initiative in her new battles distinctive aftermath of the war. This book is a great read.
After the Tomorrow Series is this book with less action, but very good written and not boring. The development of the characters are excellent. All together a very good book. I loved it.
This book is a continuation of the "Tomorrow Series". I liked it but not as much.
The Ellie chronicles are a great sequel, it really fills in the aftermath of the life of Ellie. If you read the tomorrow series, you will want to read these.
I really enjoyed this book. After finishing the Tomorrow Series, I just had to know what came next.
What I liked about this book was that it wasn't all sunshine and rainbows. Sure the war had ended, but things didn't just go back to normal. Ellie and her friends don't just go from 'soldiers' to happy go lucky teenagers (even if that's what they want).
It's a good book and a quick read. Definitely worth it!
I am just grateful that John Marsden continued the "tomorrow" series with the Ellie Chronicles to take us through the aftermath of the war and what happens to everyone that we came to care about in the tomorrow books.
This is a very fun and interesting series. I have now read all of the Tomorrow series and The Ellie Chronicles. I enjoyed the lot so much, I felt a little sad when I finished the series.
Although marked as young adult, I found this entire series captivating, with well-drawn characters easy to care about.
